About the Role
The Development Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of software developers, overseeing project execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. With a focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js, the lead will mentor developers, manage the development lifecycle, and collaborate closely with product and project managers.
What you'll do...
- Lead a team of developers, offering technical guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee project planning, task assignments, and timelines, ensuring that deliverables meet project goals.
- Enforce coding standards, review code, and ensure the team follows best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Drive Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep the team on track.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, translating them into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions to improve team efficiency and code performance.
- Manage code repositories (Git) and ensure seamless integration and delivery pipelines.
You should...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, including team leadership roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid experience working in Agile environments, managing sprints, and organizing workflows.
- Strong proficiency with Git or other version control tools.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Strong understanding of software architecture, coding practices, and deployment processes.
